First Aid CPR AED Group Training

Option A – Traditional Instructor-Led BLS

Fee: $50 per student
eBook: $17 per student (required)

This option is a fully instructor-led course delivered in the classroom. The course includes lecture, demonstration, and hands-on skills practice.

Course Details:

Total class time: 4 hours
May be split into two sessions to accommodate school schedules
Works well for A/B block schedules (ex: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday)

This format has been successfully implemented with many high school healthcare programs, allowing students to complete certification within their regular class schedule.

Option B – BLS HeartCode (Blended Learning)

Fee: $80 per student
(Includes the AHA BLS HeartCode online course)

In this option, students complete the American Heart Association BLS HeartCode online course in advance.

Once the online portion is completed, PumpLife CPR Plus instructors will come to your campus to conduct the hands-on skills session.

Course Details:

Students complete the online course independently
On-site skills session: approximately 1.5–2 hours
Class length depends on number of participating students

This option is ideal for schools that want to reduce classroom time while ensuring students receive full AHA BLS certification training.

First Aid CPR AED Training for Schools

PumpLife CPR Plus offers American Heart Association First Aid CPR AED training for schools, helping students and staff learn how to recognize emergencies and respond with confidence until professional help arrives.

Schools may choose from two training options depending on scheduling needs and classroom time.

Option A – Traditional Instructor-Led Course

Fee: $65 per student
Includes: AHA eBook or hard copy student manual

This option is a fully instructor-led class where our instructors teach the course in person with demonstration, discussion, and hands-on skills practice.

Course Includes:

Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
AED use
First Aid for common emergencies
Hands-on skills training with an AHA Instructor

Class Time: Approximately 4 hours.
To accommodate school schedules, the course can be split into two sessions, such as Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, which works well for A/B block schedules.

Option B – Blended Learning (Online + Skills Session)

Fee: $60 per student

Students complete the American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED online course in advance, followed by a hands-on skills session with a PumpLife CPR Plus instructor.

Course Details:

Students complete the online portion at their own pace
On-site skills session: approximately 1.5–2 hours

K–12 First Aid CPR AED Training (For School Staff & Youth)

PumpLife CPR Plus offers American Heart Association First Aid CPR AED training designed specifically for K–12 school environments. This program is ideal for teaching staff, school personnel, and students learning lifesaving skills in the classroom.

Course Fee: $45 per person
Includes: AHA Heartsaver eBook for each participant

The course covers essential emergency response skills including:

Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
AED use
First Aid for common injuries and medical emergencies
Hands-on skills practice with certified instructors

This training helps schools prepare staff and students to recognize emergencies, activate EMS, and provide care until professional help arrives.

Important Note:
The AHA eCard issued through this K–12 program may only be accepted by school districts for teaching staff and students ages 8–14 who are not of working age.

This program is designed for educational purposes within the school setting CCSD and NCSD and may not meet workplace certification requirements outside of the school district.

Bloodborne Pathogens Group Training

K-12 First Aid CPR AED Staff Training

Bloodborne Pathogens Training (OSHA Compliant)

PumpLife CPR Plus offers a fully interactive Bloodborne Pathogens training course designed to meet the OSHA Federal Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).

Course Fee: $55 per person
Class Time: 1 hour

This course teaches participants how to recognize potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and protect themselves and others in the workplace.

Course Topics Include:

Understanding bloodborne pathogens and how they are transmitted
OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard requirements
Exposure control plans
Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Safe work practices and engineering controls
Proper cleanup and disposal procedures
What to do in the event of an exposure incident

This training is ideal for healthcare workers, school staff, first responders, childcare providers, custodial staff, and employees who may come into contact with blood or bodily fluids.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Bloodborne Pathogens certificate of completion.
